Inside these painting galleries you’ll find a selection of mysterious, humorous, whimsical and musical paintings. Most of them are portraits - formal portraits of toys, teddy bears, cats, folk art, electric guitars, Buddhas, and things that float into my fevered brain from another dimension.
People often try to put my pictures in a box - pop surrealism, visionary art, folk art, magical realism, outsider, or whatever label seems to work. The labels just don’t fit. If you come up with the perfect label, let me know; I’d like to use it!
